Don't you hate it when you click on a meet the team profile and don't learn anything about the person or what value they bring? So, I'm not going to do that. Here is a bit of info about me.
I am an astute, commercially-savvy business leader with an unrivalled work ethic, indisputable passion for brand and a kick-ass track record in marketing. I've worked more hours than most, exposing myself to marketing dos and don'ts across various industries, while simultaneously adding to my academic record with an Executive MBA and Postgrad CIM Qualification.
During the final year of my first degree (Drama and Theatre Studies), I undertook the entrepreneurship module, which prompted me to seriously consider my path. I loved creative studies but I also liked the structure, integrity and diversity that the world of business had to offer. So, I landed in Marketing. After the gruesome post-uni job application process, which is now practically a right of passage, I got my foot in the door with luxury mobile phone company, Vertu. I started as an intern but secured a full-time position 6-months later as - cue the world's fanciest job title - Global CRM and Social Media Executive.
In the 7 years that followed I earnt my stripes across various pillars of the t-shaped marketer, climbing the corporate ladder from Manager, through Head of, and to Associate Director. You know the box that says "Minimum of X years' experience"? It's the most useless question in my view. During the last 10 years I have proactively immersed myself in over 15 different industries, evidenced hands-on experience working with established businesses and start-ups, learnt what works and what doesn't across target audiences, platforms, products and services, I've built up a significant and valuable network across core verticals... and most importantly, I'm still throwing myself at opportunities to learn and add value for my clients.
Over the last few years specifically, I've found a love for branding and, even more specifically, brand positioning. Understanding the importance of brand and its relationship with marketing led me to the mantra of "marketing is how you ask somebody on a date, but your brand is the reason they say yes". The frameworks to analyse brand are some of the most exciting models in industdy and the data not only informs the marketing strategy, but decision-making for the whole business.
Having always reported to Finance Directors, Founders or similar, I believe, and am told, that I'm unique because of my commercial savvy approach to brand/marketing and that I do the opposite of most, by under promising and over delivering. I'm proud of this as I think too many marketers shy away from accountability, consistency and delivery. It's a shame, as there is so much to shout about in marketing and a lot for the wider business to get involved with, resulting in higher revenue. But, I think much of this comes down to marketers not understanding how to effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders. Thankfully, this is a skill I've worked to excel in and one of the many skills valued by my clients.

With experience in editing, copywriting, proofreading, and SEO content writing, Sam is dedicated to delivering excellence in every project he undertakes. His previous roles as a Digital Content Writer and Editor have honed his attention to detail, ensuring our clients benefit from his meticulous approach.
Outside of work, Sam is deeply immersed in the world of music. He’s an accomplished saxophonist and clarinettist, performing with four different bands. While it takes up much of his spare time, Sam finds immense joy in sharing the gift of music with others.

Joining the team in 2024, Charlotte is a huge asset to our clients with social media packages. Charlotte started her marketing journey through an apprenticeship and graduated in 2023 with, you guessed it, glowing distinction! With a creative flare, Charlotte has continued her marketing path, selecting social media as her chosen area of expertise.
Drawing from 3 years of evidenced digital marketing experience across industries including technology, events, fashion, beauty, health & wellness, Charlotte brings a fresh and unique perspective to every project she undertakes.
Her attention to detail and passion for trendsetting ensures her excellence in social media marketing and content creation.

Joining in 2023, Oscar has brought bags of energy to the team and has been quick to learn the ropes, getting on board with the work vs playtime schedule. As team treat distributor, Oscar is quick to notice those snacking on the job or not sharing their treats with the team. He is yet to master the BbA greeting, as senior management don't think ear-licking is the way forward.
